1A. Any setting not listed below
should not be changed from its default state within the private match
lobby. Unless the match was posted as a custom rule match by the creator
of the match. In the event of a dispute, Maddensnap officials will only
enforce the rules under “GENERAL SETTINGS” and the default settings of all
other settings. The General Settings and all of the other settings in their default state
are considered to be Maddensnap Rules. Regardless if the match is custom
rules or Maddensnap Rules the Maddensnap score report system only
recognizes the Winner by the highest Score and the loser by the lowest
score. The only difference is that
if a match is being played under the Maddensnap rules a score report decision
could be over turned if a player is found to have violated a Maddensnap
rule. On the other hand, if a game is being played under a custom rule
option and either player breaks a custom rule, Maddensnap will not
investigate nor overturn any Final score report but the system will still award
a winner by the result of the score report analysis.
2A. Custom Rules will not be referenced going forward in
the bylaws, All sections will be explained under the assumption that the
matches are being played under the Maddensnap rules set. The Maddensnap League does not recommend
the use of custom rules. The Maddensnap rules are intended to protect all
players equally.
